Callistemon Pods

These delicate-looking, yet utterly beautiful botanicals are "super-lightweights", yet surprisingly durable when submerged. The seed pod of the Callistemon shrub (commonly known as "Bottlebrush Plant"), native to Australia, yet transplanted worldwide. They mix well with leaves and other botanicals for nice aesthetic in a textured substrate.

They range in size from about 2"-3.25"(5.08-8.25cm) in circumference. There beautiful, two-toned coloration contrasts nicely with some of our other botanicals, like Puberula pods, Mokha pods, etc.

PREPARATION: You need to boil them for about 20 minutes or so to get them to sink. They will occasionally "unfurl" after preparation, so do keep this in mind...that being said, they kind of look cool, regardless!

ORIGIN: North America
